Welcome to Being Human Psychotherapy.
I’m Adele O’Hare. I help people to better understand themselves and patterns in their relationships. People come to psychotherapy with me to develop aspects of their personality and change long term patterns so that they can have more emotional freedom and grow towards earned attachment security.
My therapy space is in Arana Hills, Brisbane.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative, relational process in which together over time we develop insight into what is really going on underneath your struggles, and nurture your growth and healing.
It can be an experience through which you can learn to see, with more clarity and compassion, your real needs that might be hidden under longstanding protective patterns. This opens up possibilities and a sense of greater freedom.
Putting this learning into gradual, repeated practice outside of the therapy room can lead to building more secure and loving relationships and a life infused with meaning.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which I live and work, the Turrbal people of Meanjin. I recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, including their healing traditions, wisdom about the nature of being human, and understanding of social and emotional wellbeing. I pay my respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
